Element: Prepare incinerator for operation
  • Check the incinerator for any maintenance requirements
  • Check the components of the incinerator for correct functioning
  • Determine potential environmental risks associated with incinerator operations
       
Element: Prepare waste for incineration
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Check waste, where possible, for products that should not be placed into an incinerator
